13 State Qualifiers!!!
We are headin to Rockford boys! Outstanding job YWC! This is a very impressive showing by our club. You can also go the Track Wrestling www.trackwrestling.com and check out the brackets. If you can make it up Friday and/or Saturday to help cheer on the YWC kids - please do. It is an amazing experience and the kids will find it very motivational.

Sectional Champs!!
What a Sectional!
We showed up with 30 YWC wrestlers and walk away with the Championship Trophy in the Senior Division and the Novice Division. The Intermediate wrestlers took 8th place against a VERY tough field of young wrestlers.
We had 27 pins last Saturday!! Lead by Malcolm Levy with 3 pins for the day. Tyler Caldwell and Eric Gomez were both in the hunt for the FASTEST PIN - they both had two pins for the day. One at 13 seconds, the other in 11 seconds. Wow!! Talk about gettin the job done.
Travis Voelker led the charge for the Intermediate kids with 2 pins. Zach "Rudi" Rudisuhle locked up a kid for a nice pin too.

Bantam State Winners!
How about Preston Berry and Zeke Marshall! These two animals represented YWC at the Illinois Bantam State tournament this year. They did awesome! Preston took home a second place trophy and Zeke took home a 7th place medal for thier efforts. Great job guys!

HELLO EVERYONE!
Sunday the 20th is upon us and so comes with it the Denny Hastert Yorkville Invitational! As always some great competition will be expected with all of the great teams who will be in attendance.
Please remeber that weigh-ins are betweeen 6:30a and 8a on Sunday the 20th and we WILL start promptly at 9a!
The tournament is located at the Yorkville High School. Remeber to have a great time and enjoy the rid!
